Golf                                         Hillwood Country Club offers championship golf on a state-of-the-art course that captures the area's beauty and natural surroundings. PGA Class A Head Professional Mike Lathrop oversees the 18-hole, par 72 golf course originally designed by legendary golf architect Dick Wilson. The 6,933-yard course opened for play in 1956 and was renovated by Bruce Hepner of world-renowned Renaissance Golf in 2003 and 2011. The latest renovations included reconstruction of the greens and a change to Champion Bermudagrass, re-routing and replacement of the cart paths, installation of a new irrigation system, and tee upgrades.  Members can fine-tune their games on our extensive practice facilities.  With three assistant professionals on staff, members will enjoy demo days, tournaments, a fully stocked pro shop and programs for men, women and juniors. Hillwood has played host to many Tennessee Golf Association events, including the 1963 and 1966 State Opens won by Mason Rudolph.
